Dear folks who check the weather,

Checking the weather seems like a past time. Every morning before school in Minnesota I would turn on the tv to see what the weather was like because it determined my clothing attire for that day. The weather would be right on. I loved it!

When I moved out to Oakland I never really checked the weather out here in the Bay Area because the weather experts were unpredictable and they still are. Ever since I started working outside on an endless mural I have been checking the weather as though it were my daily horoscope predicting my future. However, the experts are sometimes right but I need consistency. I am blaming the weather on how long it has been to complete the mural and not my couple of weeks of break time.

I guess that life is like the Bay Area weather. It changes constantly and you have to be on your toes to endure the rains. Also, you can't believe everything you hear or see.

P.S. I went out for coffee today and when I left the coffee shop it was raining quite hard. Of course, I didn't bring or wear any rain gear so I was drenched when I got home. This evening, I wore my rain boots because of my morning escapade but there was no rain. Rain boots are heavy when it's not raining.
